SonnenBatterie
The sonnenBatterie is a high-tech storage system that has proven itself in tens of thousands of households – every day. Available in sizes of 2.5 to 15kWh, extendable in modular 2.5kWh blocks. The unit has one of the longest life cycles in the home battery space at 10,000 cycles or 10 yrs.
The combination of a PV system and a sonnenBatterie (dependent on size) will allow you to cover about 75% of your yearly energy requirement with self-produced and clean energy.
Since your energy is being generated on your roof and not by an anonymous energy provider you are more independent than before. Take your energy future into your own hands and reduce your energy costs to a minimum.

Tesla Powerwall 2
With Powerwall you can store solar energy generated during the day for use any time. During the day, the sun shines on your solar panels, charging your battery. At night, your home draws electricity from your battery, powering your home with clean, sustainable energy 24/7.
Powerwall consists of a 14 kWh lithium-ion battery pack (extendable to 121kWh), liquid thermal control system, an integrated inverter and software that intelligently dispatches electricity when it’s needed most. The unit mounts seamlessly on a wall or on the ground, indoors or outdoors, and is connected to the grid to export excess energy, maximizing your opportunity for economic benefit.
The unit can be used both with or without a solar system connected to your normal grid supply. When using only a grid supply the unit will typically charge at night shifting overnight cheap rate power into the daytime to minimise your costs.

LG Chem
The newly designed LG Chem RESU range of lithium Ion battery packs from 3.3 to 9.6kWh, dependent on configuration, provides the perfect solution for energy storage regardless of your requirements. With options like the RESU-PLUS allowing for expansion of system capacity (upto 19.6kWh) at anytime this provides system owners with the perfect option for futureproofing their energy requirements.
The LG Chem units are a a straight forward battery and will require pairing typically to a hybrid inverter to act as a control unit. Where properly designed they can act as backup, storage for self generated power or for time shifting cheap rate power.
The units are designed and made in South Korea by LG Chem a division of LG Corporation (the TV's to industrial equipment company that is well known throughout the world). LG Chem batteries are used widely in the automotive industry supplying power to a number of well known vehicles such as Jaguars i-PACE

Nissan X storage consists of a 4.2 to 9.6kWh battery pack, dependent on configuration, an integrated inverter and software to control the dispatch of power as required.
Batteries are second life use from Nissan vehicles thus lowering the carbon footprint of this solution. Each unit carries a comprehensive warranty backed by the might of Nissan.
The batteries are made at one of four global factories that are attached to Nissans motor manufacturing sites (Nissan Washington upon Tyne, near Newcastle being one of them).
